My Favs at Burberry Prorsum RTW 2009

The Fall Burberry Prorsum collection reminded me a lot of what I saw on the streets in Paris. I loved the long flowy skirts and thick neck scarves. The waist is so defined in many of the outfits which defines the figures of the models and made them look so feminine. In addition to style these clothes look warm and comfortable. The collection is ready to wear down ave des Champs Elysees.

I also loved the chunky gold wrap bracelets.

Chanel Cruise Clutch 2009

The Chanel Cruise Collection launched in Miami Florida. Designer Karl Lagerfeld said, "The concept of the Cruise Collection is based on traveling, and Miami is the ideal destination: a city that moves and has energy, with its small districts and its animated streets." I couldn't agree more with Mr. Lagerfeld. I love Miami but might love this bag from the current collection more!

Jimmy Choo 'Corsica' Sandal

Jimmy Choo always has the most stylish and comfortable heels. I love these new 'Corsica" sandals. They remind me of summer. Can be worn with a blazer and jeans now and once it gets warmer shorts and summer dresses will look great with them.

Meeting Anna Wintour

Anna Wintour has been the editor-in-chief of American Vogue since I was an infant. Over the years she has become a style icon with her signature sunglasses and bob haircut. She is always in attendance, front row that is, at all the exclusive fashion shows. The September Giorgio Armani show was no different. I was fortunate enough to get a photograph with her as she waiting for the show to start. She had her signature sunglasses in hand dressed in head to toe Giorgio Armani. I spoke only a few words with her as I smiled in awe. At the end of shows, she purposefully runs across the runway so she isn't bothered by the press, I assume. Her routine is very predictable, at least at the shows I have been where she is in attendance. I am still in awe that I got to meet her in Milan. Memorable.

Emporio Armani RTW Fall 2009

Milan fashion week got off to an amazing start yesterday in Milan with the Emporio Armani RTW Fall 2009 line in Milan. The palette was mostly dark with very sophisticated tailoring within each style. I love the knee high sock element to the majority of the looks. It gave a very youthful look to the line. The coats were to die for with great detailed ruffle on many. I also loved the big waisted belts. They can add so much to a simple outfit. Gloves to the wrist with a bare arm were also still on the runway which lets us know that this trend will continue for fall 2009. This line gave a similar vibe from Emporio Armani's RTW September show in Milan; Sophistication meets youthful beauty. Buyers and press alike seemed to receive the line in a very positive light I have been told. What I would give to be back in Milan for fashion week. The excitement and thrill is like something I have never experienced before.

Nicole Richie's style

Nicole Richie is one of the top style icons I look up to. I love her hippie chic sense of style. These Yves Saint Laurent sunglasses make this outfit more unique and shows her personal style.

Flower Power

2008, Florals are blossoming onto the runway. Many celebs are prancing in long, floral dresses.  Carrie Underwood wore a long floral dress by Zuhair Murad to the Grammy’s and Diane Kruger partied in Paris wearing a long floral dress by Ralph Lauren. Designers like Stella McCartney and Diane von Furstenberg also created long floral dresses for the spring runway.  Whether it an allover floral pattern dress or a small patchwork tote, flower power is the latest fashion trend this spring.

Color, Color!

2008, Spring is upon us which means color, color, color! This season designers are showing neon yellows, corals and purples in dresses long and short. Yellow is a popular hue this season appearing in everything from dresses to wooden heels. Designers like Versace and Celine both have neon colors on their runway. Primary hues in vivacious shades are fierce this spring.
